With such an amazing variety of local produce, Devon is a truly tasty destination for foodies of all persuasions. Here at South View, a delicious homemade cream tea made by Jill is a must, enjoyed in the comfort of your very own lodge. Enjoy quality tea and with beautifully fresh treats, or make it a high tea with a cheeky glass of prosecco on request. All you need to do is contact us in advance to book (minimum two people).
For those who love cake (and who doesn’t?) we also make a large selection of tasty cupcakes to order; you choose the flavour and leave the rest to us. These are perfect for birthdays, anniversaries or simply as a special holiday treat. We can always add balloons and decorations for that special occasion too; just let us know in advance.
We are only too happy to recommend a variety of excellent local eateries and food producers. There are many options to win over your taste buds, whether you fancy proper Devon farmhouse ice cream or a delicious West Country steak and a pint of craft ale.
The Orange Elephant ice cream parlour (1 mile away), serves fantastic homemade flavours and is always a big hit on a sunny day. Check their website for opening as they usually are closed September to Easter www.tavenersfarm.co.uk
